BERNHARDT DEVELOPMENTS

Bernhardt Development is a fantastic family-owned company. The father son duo, Rob and Mark, are great people to work with; firstly because the homes and buildings they construct are as energy efficient as you can get and second they understand they are the professionals at building not marketing or graphic design. For this reason, they let Ryan have maximum creative freedom without interruption or disapproval so long as the design communicates their message and doesn't look like total crap. Ryan's favorite job with the Bernhardt's was the North Park project. For this job Ryan created an onsite information sign, then followed that up with a website and finally the sales brochures. With the Bernhardt's being very eco-conscious it came up that using as little paper as possible would be ideal. This lead to the sales folder being a small fold-out the size of a rack card. If needed to be mailed to potential buyers it also fit into a regular letter envelope and like a letter only needed one stamp to mail. Along with the design work, Ryan photographed the project during all its phases.
